Approximately 4,400 Class 10 students from across Andhra Pradesh have been selected for seats across RGUKT's four IIIT campuses — Nuzvid, RK Valley (Kadapa), Ongole, and Srikakulam — for the six-year integrated B.Tech programme. If your child applied before the May 30 deadline, open the relevant PDF below, search for their application number, and confirm their status within the next few minutes.

How to Find Your Name Quickly in the PDF
The PDF runs several hundred pages. Do not scroll — search. In a browser, press Ctrl + F (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + F (Mac) after opening the PDF and type either your SSC hall ticket number or your application number. In Adobe Acrobat Reader, use Edit → Find or the same keyboard shortcut. One match confirms selection. If you find no match, read the section below on what to do next.
What the Selected Students List Means
This is a provisional selection list, not a final admission letter. Your child's name appearing here means RGUKT's algorithm — which ranks purely on SSC board marks plus any deprivation-score adjustment for government-school students — has placed them in the initial batch of approximately 4,400 seats across all four campuses.
Selection is campus-specific. If you see your child's name on the Nuzvid PDF, the allotted campus is Nuzvid. There is no transfer guaranteed at this stage. Final admission is confirmed only after the mandatory certificate verification process clears all documents.
Branches Offered
RGUKT does not allocate engineering branches at the point of initial admission. The first two years are a common Pre-University Course (PUC) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Branch allocation — among Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering — happens after PUC based on internal academic performance. Chemical Engineering is available at Nuzvid and RK Valley campuses. This structure is intentional: it gives students time to develop before locking into a specialisation.
Seat Distribution
Each campus holds approximately 1,100 seats, including 10% supernumerary seats reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Over 50,541 applications were received for these 4,400 positions in the 2026 cycle, according to CollegeDekho's live updates from the admissions portal. The selection ratio — roughly 1 in 11 — makes this one of the more competitive Class 10-level placements in the state, despite the absence of a separate entrance exam.
Certificate Verification — Dates, Venue, Documents
Certificate verification is the physical confirmation step. RGUKT officials check original documents at the campus itself. Failure to appear — or showing up with incomplete documents — results in seat cancellation with no exception. Plan to travel the evening before your scheduled date.

A practical tip: put originals in one labelled folder and each photocopy set in its own folder. Officials process documents faster when everything is organised and pre-sorted.
Reporting at the Campus — When and What to Bring
Certificate verification is not the same as the final academic joining date. After documents clear, RGUKT will publish a separate schedule for actual campus admission (hostel allotment, fee payment, orientation). That schedule has not been officially announced as of June 13, 2026 — watch rgukt.in and the admissions portal for the joining notification, which typically follows within one to two weeks of verification completion.
What to Expect on Verification Day
- Arrive at the campus by 9:00 AM unless a slot time is published for your application number.
- A committee of faculty and administrative staff examines each document in sequence. The process takes 30–60 minutes per candidate when the queue is managed smoothly.
- Parents or guardians accompanying the student should carry their own ID proof.
- Do not leave the campus until you receive an acknowledgement slip confirming document receipt. This slip is your proof that verification was completed.
- Students with special categories (NCC, BSG, CAP, Sports) should note that RGUKT has separately released a verification list for those quota seats — check the RGUKT admissions portal for the specific BSG/NCC/Sports sub-list if your child applied under those categories.
Hostel and Residential Details
RGUKT runs fully residential campuses. Students are expected to stay in campus hostels throughout the programme. Bring enough personal clothing for two weeks; campus stores supply basic essentials. Expensive electronics are generally not permitted in hostel rooms during the PUC phase — confirm the specific rules on the campus student handbook, which RGUKT distributes during orientation.
If Your Name Is NOT on the List
Not finding your child's name on the Phase 1 provisional list does not end the process. Here is what to know.
Phase 2 Selection
RGUKT runs a second selection round after Phase 1 candidates complete verification. Seats that go unfilled — because some Phase 1 selected students decline, fail verification, or do not report — are offered to Phase 2 candidates. The Phase 2 provisional list was updated on June 13, 2026, according to search data from the admissions portal; if you are checking late on June 13, verify whether a Phase 2 list for your campus has already been published. A Phase 2 list appears in the same place on admissions.rgukt.in as the Phase 1 list.
Spot Admission Rounds
If seats remain after Phase 2, RGUKT has historically conducted spot admission rounds on campus. Spot rounds are announced with short notice — usually 3–5 days — so it is worth continuing to monitor the portal through July 2026. Spot rounds require the same document set as regular verification; keep your file ready.
Alternative Routes
Students who narrowly missed the RGUKT cut do not exhaust all options at this point:
- AP EAPCET 2026 results (already released) determine engineering admissions through the regular AP counselling process for B.Tech first-year. Families should check whether the candidate is eligible and whether any applications were filed.
- Telangana RGUKT (Basar) runs a parallel admissions process for Telangana-domicile students; AP students are not typically eligible for Basar.
- APOSS / Intermediate Board: Students who planned to continue through Class 11–12 via the Intermediate board pathway can still do so without penalty.

Right now (June 13):

- [ ] Note down the verification date for your campus (Nuzvid/RK Valley: June 19–20 | Ongole/Srikakulam: June 22–23).
June 13–15 (document assembly):
- [ ] Pull SSC marks memo, hall ticket, study certificate, TC, and all caste/income/EWS certificates from the file.
- [ ] Verify that income and EWS certificates are dated after April 1, 2026 — certificates dated before this will be rejected.
- [ ] Make two complete sets of photocopies of every document. Label them "Set 1" and "Set 2".
- [ ] Self-attest every photocopy page (student signature + date).
- [ ] Collect six passport-size photographs (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm, white background, recent).

June 16–18 (logistics):
