1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DevReads (the “Service”), operated as part of devsecengops.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use DevReads. To create an account, withdraw rewards, or participate in the bug bounty program, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is available worldwide; some features (such as UPI payouts) are only available to users in India.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@reads.devsecengops.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bug Reporting & Rewards

Bug reports must be genuine, original, and submitted in good faith. Fraudulent, automated, or duplicate reports will be rejected without reward. Cash prizes (up to ₹500 per scratch card) are credited to your in-app wallet and require a valid UPI ID for withdrawal. Minimum withdrawal is ₹100. Scratch cards expire 30 days after issue. DevReads is the final arbiter of report validity.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of comments, bug reports, and other content you submit, but you grant DevReads a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and moderate that content as part of operating the Service. You are solely responsible for what you post and must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or violates anyone's privacy. We may remove any content at our discretion.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: submit false bug reports to game the reward system; manipulate view counts, likes, or DevCoin earnings; scrape, mirror, or republish content without written permission; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform; introduce malware or interfere with normal operation; or use the Service for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

All articles, branding, code, and design on DevReads are the property of DevReads or its licensors, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may share article links and short, attributed excerpts for personal, non-commercial use; any other reproduction, distribution, or derivative work requires our prior written consent.

8. Advertising & Third-Party Services

DevReads displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and may, in future, work with other ad networks. These third parties may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and them — DevReads is not responsible for the products, services, or content of any third-party advertiser. We also rely on Google Analytics (analytics), Amazon SES (email), and Razorpay (payments); each has their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information published is accurate, complete, or current. Articles are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, financial, legal, or security advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevReads, its operators, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed ₹1,000 or the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DevReads and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing contact@reads.devsecengops.com. We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or otherwise put the Service or other users at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will do so.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us in good faith at contact@reads.devsecengops.com to seek an informal resolution.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the site or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
